Metal halide perovskites-based white light-emitting diodes

Abstract White light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) serve as a replacement for traditional incandescent light due to their excellent characteristics, such high brightness, efficiency in energy consumption, and long lifetime. The high-efficiency low-cost white-emitting materials diode devices has always been the goal pursued field of lighting technology. Recently, metal halide perovskites are emerging one most promising luminescent next-generation WLEDs facile synthesis optoelectronic properties, photoluminescence quantum yields, widely tunable bandgap, charge-carrier mobility. Although luminescence perovskite emitters WLED increased rapidly over past several years, achieving stable remains great challenges. In this review, we focus on recent progresses based including color-conversion WLEDs, tandem structure double-emissive-layer single-emissive-layer WLEDs. Importantly, highlight single emissive layer that show white electroluminescence directly from emitters. Finally, will give an outlook future research avenues how reach efficient perovskite-based
